Rahul Bathija is incredibly honoured to serve as one of the 2016-2017 Chapter Development Officers and is hoping to make next year’s DECA Epic! Rahul’s DECA journey started in Grade 9 at John Fraser Secondary School and his passion for DECA has only grown since. Through DECA, Rahul has honed his skills in leadership and communication, and hopes to use these skills in the upcoming year. Next year, he hopes to inspire all of Ontario’s 12,500 delegates to achieve their full potential!
Beyond DECA, Rahul enjoys traveling, playing basketball and is a keen car enthusiast. He has an avid interest in leadership and entrepreneurship; he runs two apparel and design companies, a travel agency, and serves as an executive on his school’s Student Council. Rahul is also passionate about social justice; he currently serves as an executive for Mukti Volunteer Village, an organization that helps oppressed child sex slaves break out of the chains that tie them down.
Rahul is ready to make DECA Ontario’s upcoming year the best yet! He is incredibly passionate about DECA, and would love to hear about new ideas and opportunities. Networking is a key aspect of DECA, and he encourages members to reach out through social media or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Good luck to everybody!
